Determining Our Future,
Making History Together
My Principles
What I Believe
1. Equality
Equal opportunity, also called equality of opportunity, in political theory, the idea that people ought to be able to compete on equal terms, or on a “level playing field,” for advantaged offices and positions whether in politics or social economical activities.
2. Accountability
My belief that everyone must take responsibility in their activities, duties or occupation and be answerable whether in public service or private sector. That an individual or an organization will be evaluated on their performance or behaviour related to something for which they are responsible.
3. Justice
the fair application of the law in rendering services, managing coexistence and resolution of disputes in society. There are four different types of justice: distributive (determining who gets what), procedural (determining how fairly people are treated), retributive (based on punishment for wrong-doing) and restorative (which tries to restore relationships to "rightness.")
4. Democracy
my belief in a government in which the highest power is held by the people and is usually used through elected representatives. The practice of the idea that all people are socially equal.
5. Inclusivity
the practice or policy of providing equal access to opportunities and resources for people who might otherwise be excluded or marginalized, such as those having physical or mental disabilities or belonging to other minority groups.
